Parent Responsibilities

The most important responsibilities of parents is to "Co-op," which means to help the teacher and assistant for a full class session approximately every 12th class (assuming a full class of 12 students). For the 2's class this is approximately once every 6 weeks, for the 3's class once a month and for the 4's class once every 2 weeks throughout the school year. Parents co-op on a rotating basis according to a schedule set up at the beginning of the school year.

Other responsibilities include:

• Serving as an Executive Board or Committee member (see Job List below)
• Attending General Meetings
• Participating in one housekeeping session per year
